Jess

Jessica Sue Wade

born April 27, 1985

A beautiful young lady with bright blue eyes and a smile that drew you into her beauty.  She had big dreams, a creative soul, and cared so deeply.  Often she wanted more from life than I could give her.  An athlete and an artist, very into health and body image.
Jes was diagnosed in January, 2005 with Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma, a rare, fast moving cancer during her second year of college, and it took her that October.  In a mere ten months our lives were turned upside down.  There was no set protocol (method of treating) this cancer, and docs were scrambling for a course of action - And so did this community!  With one special angel of a young woman leading the way to help Jes all they could.
The Lord tells us no life is incomplete.  How these communities stepped up to help make the horror more bearable was angels doing God's work.  To help another with their time, talents and treasury - We are blessed by all of you!  The depth of gratitude we have for the community and the Special Angel who held us up when our legs had no strength is immeasurable.
Many cancers are curable, unfortunately, not for Our Jes.  There are sooo many people now fighting this disease and we can help each other.  It'll take good education, big hearts and dedication to find the cures we need to help each other, and I know we can do this.  Like the hill you will conquer in this race, it may not be easy, but it will be done!
Thank you for being here today, and I ask you to make a difference in this world.  It doesn't take much - just you doing what you do, using your God-given talents for each other.
Jes is surely missed, and I thank the Lord for our time with her, and your time with us too.  We all need to show our love for each other and do positive things.  This will help you, me, and our community.
God Bless,
Sue Wade
